Legal costs can be substantial, and the Group Legal Plan through MetLaw offers a cost-effective way to deal with the most frequently needed personal legal matters. Coverage provides low-cost access to professional legal counsel (both by phone and in-person) and representation for most personal legal matters. In addition, you can take advantage of their mobile app for easy access to online education.

You must enroll to initially participate. After that, your current in-force election will roll forward into next year. Employee contributions will be deducted on a post-tax basis. As a result, any benefits received under the Plan will not be subject to income tax.
