Overview
If you need temporary assistance in caring for a family member so you can be at work, the Bright Horizons Back-Up Care Program can provide quality care alternatives as well as peace of mind. You do not need to enroll to take advantage of this benefit, but you must register before you can receive care.
The Bright Horizon Back-Up Care Program provides access to temporary back-up center-based childcare as well as in-home care for dependent children and adult/elder family members (even if they don’t live with you).
The benefit allows you to make back-up care arrangements for your loved ones without having to take time away from work when regular care arrangements fall through, an unexpected emergency arises or you simply need additional dependent care assistance.

- $15 per child / day, for center-based care
- $25 per family / per day, for center-based care
- $6 / hour, for in-home care
- Access to special needs in-home back-up child caregivers
*Center-based childcare and in-home care are available Monday-Friday typically 7 a.m. – 6 p.m. Night and weekend in-home care may be available upon request.
