Are you getting your steps in? The Starr Step Challenge is a fun way get healthy and compete for the title of "Super Starr Stepper". The challenge will start on Monday, April 28th and conclude on Sunday, May 25th.
Employees can create a team of up to 6 employees to compete against other Starr teams. Let's see some creative team names!
Top Steppers will be recognized on Start Portal. Employees will win under the different categories below. We will have self-identified runner and walker classifications; please be honest when determining if you are a regular runner or walker. We will define a runner by someone who runs on average once a day for at least 4 days a week, and then you will self-identify when you join a team.
Recognized Categories:
- “Weekly Champion" (most steps in one week - runner and walker winner)
- “Best Walking Buddy" (post photos of your walking buddy in the designated teams channel - one winner)
- “Most Creative Team Name" (as determined by a poll open to the employees)
- “Top Stepping Team" (one for walkers, one for runners, and one with both)
- “Lucky Stepper" (one winner determined by a random wheel spin)
- “Marathon Master" (message Samantha Nordmark to say you will be running in a marathon during the time frame)
